Airblaster and Hood.

Here are a few photos from a shred day up at Hood. Airblaster had to have a BOARD meeting and we did it in style. Hood has a lot of snow still and the shredding is fun. For more photos and more info about the day check out an Airblaster Hood Superpost dropping in a few days on www.snowboard-mag.com

come on dude the straps are the ugliest possible thing... i have last years bonus carlsons and they are the tightest goggles ever...i was so dissappointed by that damn half orange airpill. anyone from airblaster wanna explain why they thought that would be a good idea?

Airblaster is sorry you are so disappointed with the new Airgoggle. We went for a nice florescent orange in the flame section of the logo to give it a blasting off look (The airpill is actually a rocket ship). The one problem with the finished product is the color. It is almost impossible to get a really fluorescent color thread.

Again sorry to make you so sad. We will do our best to make next year banger.

Thanks.

i agree the air goggles are kind of a dissapointment this year. I also think the whole 08/09 line is not that great compared to the 07/08 line which was awesome. Really sad to see the vintersars jacket was not in the catalogue.

yeah i agree the colors of everything are not as rad as they use to be. the new stuff kind of looks like just another company. not as unique as airblaster use to be. just my opinion

airblaster does what they want. the last 4 or so years have had a little of everything. some years the neon is everywhere, other years the stuff is more subtle. (considering everyone including burton is biting the neon stuff these days, i think its a nice change.) one thing is for sure is that it is quality stuff and good design, even if it's not your fav color. lates

The new line is actually really bright if you see it in person. I think the quality of the PDF catalog destroys the true color. I've seen some videos and pictures where little pieces of the 08/09 line is released and it's a lot different than the catalog.

But I must say, last years was probably one of the best snowboard outerwear lines i've seen. They had some extra creativity flowing, that's for sure.

Also, after 4 years, you can't always do the same thing.

AIRBLASTERS new line is fricken hot in real life, everything goes together and looks radical, wait till you see the neon barf, that burton and volcom tried to come out with, and you'll be excited that your 08-09 AIR gear is different

were not hatein on the new line. were just tellin it how it is. We have to keep it real so airblaster knows what we like so they can make what we like

Wow. Thanks for all the kind words on this site. You hit the nail right on the head. At airblaster we tried to not fall victim to the fight for bright. Yes we love our bright colors and the new line has plenty of wild colors. We just wanted to produce a mature line of wild colors. Wild colors but also great colors. The rest of the industry is for sure biting us hard with a push for the most bright crazy colors possible. I look at our line and I agree that it is a refreshing bit of AIR in the business.

As for the colors not looking as good in PDF versus in person that is just a fact of life. Every computer screen is calibrated different, all room with computer screens have different lighting and on and on. There is just no way to get color to look true to life on all computers.

I also want to say that this conversation was actually peaceful and I am thankful for that. I get bummed on other blogs when kids just resort to calling each other fags and talking about how they can ride better then everyone. Thanks everyone for voicing your opinion and keeping it clean.

Airblaster.
