The Lost Footage - Area-241 Day 2

Monday, December 12, 2011
On day 2 of our trip to Area-241, Mikey Basich showed Brandon Cocard, Ben Lynch and myself around to some sweet back country spots near his house. After Tim departed due to an injury, our friend Eric Messier joined us out at Area-241. Although the snow was turning to hot pow, it was still a fun session in the back yard. I mean how can you not have fun when shredding with these guys!? Its pretty much impossible. Enjoy! Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention this is an original song by the Airblaster Crew. These young men are so talented! To see the full Respect Your Elders film head over to myairblaster.com.

Trajectory Park in Moscow...

Thursday, December 08, 2011
Moscow is pretty much cold, and fairly flat.  So, it is similar to shredding in the Mid West.  You don't really have your pick of destination resorts, but you can still have a lot of fun if you're shredding with your friends. We went to the Trajectory park, definitely the best park in the city of Moscow.  There was a small jump line, a rope tow, and a wicked tight tree run.  We cruised the park, broke the rope tow, and pissed off security.  While launching the park, we started bonking Nick's pole jam.  Then Nick's pole jam started bonking us, and almost smacked Brandon in the face, but luckily not quite.Later we found a big wooden bank / wall, which Brandon and Nick did some doubles-layback action on.  All in all it was a good day.To see the rest of the Thank You, Baby story in video form, head over to our online store. It comes free with any purchase!

The Lost Footage - Area-241 Day 1

Monday, December 05, 2011
During the filming of Respect Your Elders, Mikey Basich invited the crew of Ben Lynch, Brandon Cocard, Tim Eddy and director of photography Kyle Norman Schwartz out to Area-241. Here's what Kyle had to say upon arrival,

"When we showed up to his castle, he told us that he had already pushed a back country jump for us with his snow cat. What a guy! That's what I call hospitality! So we had a fun session on the jump, but Tim ended up hurting his knee because he is a beast and sent it way to hard on a cab fiver and ran into a bush. So Tim peaced out and in the mean time Mike pushed up a small tree stall with his snow cat and we sessioned it once Brandon got back from dropping Tim off. Besides Tim getting hurt it was a really awesome start to our time spent at Area-241. Thanks MIKEY B!"
