Limited Addition Vintersars!

This is exciting news. Our warehouse called the other day and told us they found about 60 new Vintersars from a few years back. Shocked we figured this was a mistake but it was not. For some reason a batch of Vintersars got missplaced at our warehouse for 4 years. These where made back when we used a factory in Mendoza Argentina. This factory was a small family run operation that was great. Good people and good family. To top this off the color of this item is a light gray. It is almost white but has a slight gray tint to it. We never made this jacket in this color, the factory must have run out of the White and then just used this material to finish the remaining ones. So, we now have some very limited never before seen jackets. Could this get any better? Hell yes!! This is the Vintersars jacket, it is probably the best jacket we have ever done. Since this is a few years old we are selling them for a fraction of the cost. Many people ask about these jackets so now we have an answer! Yes we have them and get them before they are gone!! Many people might have noticed a little April Fools joke on our facebook page. It was a comment about the fact that we just signed the papers on a collab with Burton Snowboards. This was a joke and we are not working with Burton. At Airblaster we have nothing against Burton. Burton was part of the group that started the game and is a major reason Snowboarding exsists today. Burton makes some very good product and we respect that. At this time we are not planning any type of partnership with them on anything. Will we work with them in the future? The answer is not at this time.

I normally do not get excited about Iphone apps but one recently made me laugh really hard. It is called Brain Scanner. It is a simple joke app that you use to play pranks on your friends and family. You act like your phone can read a persons mind and when they tell you that you are full of it you dare them to try it. The app then instructs them to place it against their forehead while it tries to read their mind. In the end it just says some funny things that makes your friend feel really silly and everyone laughs at them for believing it would work. It is well worth the 99cents and man it was funny to play on many of my friends. It was hilarious. Ok, back to work now.

Back by popular demand is our Best Comment Contest. Last week we had a great time and the comments made us smile like you would not believe. We have not even been able to pick a winner because they are all so good. Thanks a bunch for keeping the comments clean and appropriate. We are stoked at the creative and unique responses we get, good stuff. This week is another great photo taken during the making of Airblaster's August. After filming the movie and on the last day of HCSC snowboard camp Airblaster took a day and went skiing. Sure, we are all snowboarders but we have nothing against skiing. After all we would probably not have snowboarding if it was not for skiing. So, to mix it up a bit we strapped on the boots and went skiing. The photo below is of Sebi and TJ both on their first day skiing ever! I guess it is not so hard, ha ha. The jump they are hitting was about 35 feet long and impressive for their first day. Austin Hironaka who has skied before was the only person who got freestyle skies(aka twin tips) and he wa able to get about 5-6 feet out of the super pipe! Let the comments fly on this one!

If you have not heard yet Travis Parker is BACK! Well he is back at making movies with his friends! Travis and the gang have started a new production company called Resourceful Gnome.The first movie release from these guys is going to be called Respect Your Elders. This is a new movie concept that involves snowboard trips with young up and coming rippers going along with some of our sports legends. People like Ben Lynch, Brandon Cocard, Jed Anderson, Nick Dirks, Austin Hironaka all shredding right along side legends like Travis Parker, Temple Cummins, Josh Dirksen, Mike Basich and more. This new movie will be in stores and online starting in the fall. Travis will be shredding his brains out making this the best movie to come out since well, forever!

I am sure everyone reading this site is familiar with The Berrics. I am making this post because I just need to give them a major high five and basically say that everyone behind The Berrics is amazing! We all know that The Berrics has provided us with unlimited skateboard action on a daily basis and they have done it in a way that not one site has ever even come close to. They also have provided us with a weekly segment called Buttery Ass Mondays. Have you watched these? They are straight up amazing!! I have no idea who is the master behind BAM but I just want to say that I am in amazement of this person's brain. Whoever comes up with the content in this segment is an absolute genius! I like to think I am creative and funny and that I have friends that are as well but this guy is in a league all his own hands down. Found this little gem on youtube. Sebi and Jonas are both ripping riders that run Airblaster gear. Sure they are good snowboarders but they are on the team because they are also awesome humans! Thanks for the epic video friends. Also shown in this video is our friend Eric from GoodQuestion Supply. These are the fine people that bring Airblaster to all our friends in Germany and Austira. Without them we would be lost. Many people out there probably think that since we own and run Airblaster we get to snowboard everyday in epic powder with all our friends. Well, let me just say there are no helicopters for us my friends. 90% of the time we are stuck behind a computer trying to solve another problem. We work and there is no way around that. Do we snowboard well of course we do but about the same amount as everyone else. It makes me stoked to see videos like this because we run our business and make the product we do so that people can go out into the mountains and enjoy snowboarding. In a sense we are taking one for the team, ha ha ha. Really though we are so happy that we help people enjoy the outdoors and their day snowboarding. Good times for all!

Thanks for all the emails friends. We got 100+ people emailing in with an answer. The winner and the first to email(and first email checked) with the correct answer is Scott Ledbetter. The correct answer we where looking for was a T-shirt. Many people said the Leg Bag which is not correct. The Leg Bag was created a couple years into Airblaster, it was an evolution of the Airleash. This product the Airleash was one of the original products we produced and it was just a simple large leash for your board. The Leg Bag came after that and was a new version of the Airleash only bigger with the addition of some pockets and a pass holder. Both of these are not a correct answer to the trivia question. The first item we made was actually a T-shirt spray painted by Travis Parker in his garage. It can be seen in some K2 snowboards ads from years ago. It was a white T with a spray painted AIR BLASTER on the chest. This is the origin of the original logo. After this we then ran an official production run of a couple hundred T-shirts with the Airpill logo on them. Soon to follow was the creation of the original Airleash. Thanks Scott, you rule!

Check out this old one. It is from a few years back. Travis traveled with Argentina to film his first hand and took along the rest of the Airblaster crew. The best thing to point out is that if you watch close you will see a young Jed Anderson. Towards the end of the video there is a shot of Jed jumping over a light post, ducking under a sign and doing a front 3 over a rail. You might have to look close because the kid in the shot looks like he is 6 years old. Just poking fun Jed, we love you man and we had a great trip, Paul's Board Bin!

This video really has nothing to do with Airblaster but it is connected to snowboarding. As many of us know Lego's are cool. I played with them as a kid and I still own a few. Ok, I do not have as many as the people in this video but If I keep it up I will be close in about 150 years. This video was shot, directed and produced by Jess Gibson. Many of you might be asking the question what does that have to do with snowboarding. Well Jess was one of the brains behind your favorite snowboard production company called Robot Food. Now that Robot Food has moved on from snowboarding Jess is working on other projects. This video about AFOL's is really cool. I myself like Lego's but for the most part do not use them. These people love them and that is great in my eyes. I believe that life is about passion and enjoyment. If it comes to you when you build with Lego's then more power to you. Another little fun fact is that Rodger Cameron the man behind Magical GoGo wax works at Lego. He is a great guy and his wax works great!

A few great shots of Boris taken by photographer David Kundig. These look like some epic shots and I would HAVE FUN all day long on jumps like these. They look like they have some good pop and actual air time. What is actual air time you ask? Well friends, see how these jumps send the snowboarder up and into a nice clean ARC. This is my style, I like jumps that have a little pop and send you up before sending you out and down. I will never understand the flat take offs that just send a rider 100 feet out and then down. It is like a long distance cliff jump in my eyes. Whatever the case things are looking good for Boris and we hope he enjoys his shred. Thanks for the photos David and everyone at Adapd.
